Offline Handwritten Text Recognition

Led a university team building an offline handwritten text recognition system using CNN-BLSTM-CTC architecture. Fine-tuned deep learning models in Keras/TensorFlow for accurate character sequence prediction.

My story

Engineer turned
data storyteller.

I'm a Computer Engineer who fell in love with finding patterns in data. After graduating top of my class in Nepal and lecturing at college level, I moved to Sydney to pursue a Masters in Data Science at UTS — consistently earning High Distinctions across all core units.

I've published deep learning research, built Tableau dashboards that tell 60-year stories, and applied ML to real-world datasets from NYC taxi rides to global health trends. For me, data isn't just numbers — it's how we understand the world.
